The Waiter/Waitress plays a key role in delivering excellent dining experiences by providing attentive service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of food and beverage presentation. This role supports the smooth daily operations of Beach 12 outlets, contributes to the team’s overall efficiency, and promotes Ayla’s service values in a customer-focused environment
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in training new staff in service standards and outlet procedures.
- Support supervisors in delegating daily service tasks and floor management.
- Monitor guest feedback and promptly report issues to senior staff.
- Promote teamwork and a positive work environment among peers
- Provide professional table service, including order taking, serving food and beverages, and clearing tables.
- Ensure correct presentation and serving standards for all menu items.
- Address customer inquiries regarding menu offerings and provide suggestions.
- Monitor tables to anticipate guest needs.
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Familiarity with POS systems and order handling.
- Basic knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards.
- Team player with a proactive and flexible approach.
Minimum 1–2 years’ experience as a waitress or in customer service within the hospitality sector.
Experience working in beach clubs, resorts, or high-volume outlets is an advantage
Education
Certificate or diploma in Hospitality or Food Safety is preferred.
