The Senior Specialist – Networks and Information Security is responsible for ensuring the resilience, reliability, and security of the organization IT infrastructure. This role oversees the design, implementation, monitoring, and enhancement of network systems and security frameworks, protecting against internal and external threats while maintaining operational continuity and compliance with industry standards. The position also provides expert support in risk management, vulnerability assessment, and incident response.

DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES

• Support the Manager in defining strategies for network and information security.
•  Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors on network, cybersecurity, and technology-related initiatives
•  Coordinate with vendors and external partners for security systems upgrades and solutions
•  Help with the design, configuration, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN) to maintain security.
•  Lead the implementation, monitoring, and enforcement of information security controls, policies, and procedures in line with company standards and best practices
•  Manage, maintain, and continuously enhance the organization’s network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security
• Manage the implementation and operation of the security operation center
•  Manage and Implement firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and advanced security tools.
• Conduct regular vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and risk mitigation.
• Oversee secure cloud integration and hybrid environments.
• Support forensic investigations in cases of security breaches.
•  Provide technical guidance and subject-matter expertise related to networks and information security as required

• Expert-level network engineering across Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or equivalent enterprise platforms.

• Deep proficiency in firewall management, VLAN architecture, VPN, and SD-WAN technologies.

• Advanced information security expertise — SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence.

• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, or equivalent security standards.

• Proficiency in network and security monitoring tools and forensic analysis platforms

• Senior technical authority — the definitive expert on networks and security across the IT function.

• Strategic thinker — aligns network and security architecture to Ayla's long-term technology and risk strategy.

• Decisive under pressure — leads security incident response with composure and technical authority.

• Strong mentors develop network and security coordinators with structured guidance and technical coaching.

• CCNP, CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent advanced certification is strongly preferred.
• Minimum 3–4 years in a senior specialist or lead role with end-to-end ownership of network and security operations.
• Prior experience in hospitality, real estate, or large-scale multi-site environments preferred.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing enterprise network security architectures.
