Electrical Engineer

To plan, design, implement, and maintain electrical systems and equipment to support operational needs and ensure compliance with relevant codes, safety standards, and project specifications. The role involves overseeing electrical engineering activities, managing resources, and providing technical expertise to ensure optimal performance, safety, and energy efficiency in all electrical installations and infrastructure

Duties & Responsibilities:

•         Plan and oversee electrical engineering activities to ensure alignment with project timelines and objectives.
•          Supervise junior engineers and technicians, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback.
•      Manage budgets and resources for electrical works, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.
•       Prepare and maintain technical reports, design documentation, and project progress updates.
•           Maintain accurate records of electrical systems, maintenance schedules, and inspection results.
•      Assist in developing and reviewing electrical policies, procedures, and safety standards
•          Design, install, test, and maintain electrical systems for facilities, infrastructure, and equipment.
•          Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults to minimise downtime and operational disruptions.
• Ensure all electrical installations and maintenance works comply with applicable codes, regulations
•         Management, Environmental Management, Occupational Health & Safety Management, and Energy Management.
• Ensure that sustainability, safety, and quality considerations are integrated into all work activities, in line with Ayla’s strategic objectives and long-term success

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, control systems, and related equipment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP).
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a facilities, industrial, or construction environment.
