The Cash Checker is responsible for verifying and reconciling all cash transactions within Ayla’s operations. This includes reviewing deposits, ensuring accuracy of cash reports, and validating payments in accordance with financial and operational policies. The role supports accountability and transparency in cash handling and reporting across departments
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in training junior cash handling staff on company cash policies.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure proper cash documentation is maintained
- Verify and reconcile daily cash collections and deposit slips.
- Review and record payment vouchers, petty cash transactions, and cash movement forms.
- Monitor discrepancies in cash reports and escalate findings to supervisors
- Perform daily matching of physical cash against system records and reports.
- Use accounting software to verify transaction accuracy.
- Prepare cash reconciliation reports and assist in month-end closures.
- Audit cashier logs and reconcile variances as per company policies.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data verification.
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and internal controls.
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software. Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to handle confidential financial data with integrity
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in cash handling, cashier supervision, or accounting operations.
Education
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
